    AID BW-EFT Tubize

    www.aid-bw.be

    AID BW-EFT Tubize is a training-by-work company.

It is part of an approach aimed at giving the trainee, a future worker, a broad autonomy by allowing him to understand the society in which he is working (political, social and civic) while learning a trade. It organizes training alternating theory and practice and putting it into practice directly on the ground.

In addition to the sectors of carpentry, eco-construction and development, in recent years it has developed a "valoriste en ressourcerie" sector.

The trainees learn to revive used objects, which they transform or divert. To do this, they take courses to acquire basic concepts in electricity, woodworking, metalworking (welding) and painting. Then, they will put into practice, by the realization of objects, the notions received and complete them. For example, they will make wooden benches from dismantled chairs and pallet wood, which will be painted, varnished or laquered before being put on sale.

This sector already allowed the creation of a recyclery and a ressourcery, themselves creative of employment.

Finally, the sector contributes to the elaboration of an official trade repository of the trade of valorist and the content of the training.
