Additional activities during the meeting in Gävle

Two study visits were organized by the hosting partner during the 4th transnational meeting. One of them was made to Gastrike Atervinnare (www.gastrikeatervinnare.se), where the partners could observe the process of collection of waste to be recycled.

The second visit took place at the premises of EKOGAS plant of Gävle (http://www.ekogas.se/english.asp), where the partners and stakeholders of Co-creative youth project were shown the biogas process from the initial stage the food waste is dropped off by the garbage truck until it is compressed and stored in many small tanks to be transported to the different filling stations in the city.
